| More Roads to Build? Southern Ethiopia Inivites Us In
Recently I found this picuture of my standing in the middle of the road in Southern Ethiopia. This is where we were filling mud trenches in the road with dirt, bushes, and branches.
Everyone contributed to the building of the roads so that the Caravan could get through. Nothing so bad that the 1959 Wally Byam Caravan to Africa couldn't rise above.
Looking back this picture represents the first of our challenges in Ethiopia. There were many more hurdles and challenges to meet.
Kudos to the Caravanners that made it from Cape Town to Cairo.
