July 4th, Wally Byam, the International Rally, a history

The attached files tells of a small child, who believed that parades, firecrackers, and crowds were for his birthday on July 4th.

From this earliest part of his life, our Airstream benefactor Wally Byam grew into the owner and founder of Airstream Trailers.

As a coincidental side note, seeing that Wally didn't realize that all the parades and firecrackers were really for America's birthday, it's kind of humorous that I didn't know until after the fact that I bought my Tradewind on Wally's birthday.
