Hey, I Found Your Original Paperwork & TV

I just purchased a Vintage Tow Vehicle, and in the glove box was the original paperwork for a 1966 Airstream Ambassador Land Yacht!!!

I have:
Original Invoice/Deposit Slip
What was actually order as options invoice slip
The "Window Sticker" from Airstream
And Airstream's Option List

Also in the glove box was:
My New TV's Original Title
Sales Receipt
Order Form
and misc GM Warranty Stuff and Owners Manual

The original owner purchased the TV when he purchased the Airstream.
Attached you will find a pic of my new Vintage TV to haul around the 63 Bambi.

By the way, the Airstream's Serial Number is: J 0286 603

If you are the Original Owner, I will gladly provide you with copies of all and the history!

Regards,
StevieB

Very appropriate and sensible Tow Vehicle.
We always called 'em Carryalls, when the panel truck had windows. I don't know what year Carryall was dropped from Chevrolet Suburban Carryall, but it was part of the official name for a while.

Nice truck, Happy Trails

Carryall vs. Suburban

Actually I believe that "Carryalls" were the same as the Suburban, but with panels on the side instead of windows. It is my understanding that the "Carryall" name was dropped after 1966. Anyway you cut it, you are right on the perfect TV in the day, and even today.
Regards,
StevieB

Stepside Lurking in the Background

By the way, if you see the 1960 Chevy Stepside lurking in the background of the pic, she is now for sale.

Or, maybe the Chevy version was the "Suburban" and the GMC version was the"Carry All."

StevieB, if there are any serial numbers or other identifying numbers on that paperwork, you might want to post 'em here. It may make it easier for a potential owner out there to tell if the numbers match. Keep us posted if you find the lucky owner!

BTW, very cool Suburban. Carryall. Whatever. What year is it? Also a '60? And it's a 2-door! A friend had a later model that was a 3-door - only a front door on the passenger side.
