Help Identify??? I think it's a '50s liner with custom options

I've struck a deal with a gentleman over the phone, and secured the rights to this trailer. My first trailer was in great shape. This one is so far sight unseen, but I've really wanted a 50's era trailer. Didn't expect to go to 1950.

Here's my dilemma. Because both front and rear windows are oval, it appears to be between 1949 and 1950. However, it has 4 windows on the street side. Usually it's 2, then a space, then another from the pics of liners of that area. The side lights don't appear to be right either.

The other issue I have is that it does not have the Airstream eyebrow drip cap for that era. This seems to have a straight angle coming off the top of the window. My concern is that someone customized this by adding another window, and didn't put the original eyebrow type drip cap up top.

My biggest fear is this isn't an Airstream, but something else. I wish I had more pictures. Obviously I won't hand over the check without going through the trailer.

So, can someone identify this, and tell me if that drip cap is legit? Sorry, he hasn't found a serial number yet.

Thanks!

It might be a Curtis Wright Model 5. If it doesn't have a nameplate on the left side of the door frame, look for a stamped 4digit serial number on the pipe frame near the hitch. If it starts with an 8 then it's a Curtis Wright.

ahh, thank you. That seems right. The windows and the teardrop marker matches up.

So..... Before I put ungodly amounts of time and money into this, how is the value compared to a similar Airstream liner of the same size and age?

Does it have one window across the front or is it two? Curtis wright would have had two, I can't tell in your picture.

Do you have a front on picture of the end cap?
