Earliest known AS and AS kin

Hemmings Motor News shows several historical items of interest daily. On Nov 15, 2018 it ran a nice piece on the Masonite sided 1936 Silvercloud, the earliest known factory built(#199) AS. And the oldest known Curtis Wright (#429), a 16’ Model 1

With pictures. Both attended VACs 25th anniversary functions before and during the 2018 Salem International

The pictures show them being towed by a 1937 Chrysler Airflow and 1948 Studebaker Truck

Nice article. I’d attach it if I knew how

Also the nationally known restorer, Flytecamp, has a great YouTube (EP7)showing both at the 2018 Bend Classic Vintage Airstream Clubs 25th Rally
