Can someone help me I.D. this Airstream

Hi I purchased this 1965 Airstream. It has (I think) two WBBCI#'s. It also has a sticker that says that the owner was a Coast Gaurd Captain. It was purchased on the East Coast.

Posting the serial number, on a plate in front of the door, would give us the information to identify the trailer.

You might want to post a separate thread looking for information on the WBCCI numbers on the front of your trailer. Here are some threads that would help you:

That number (29779) does not appear in any of my directories.I can tell you at some point the owners of that number had a Nebraska address.
You will need to get the info from someone with a WBCCI directory from the mid 1970's probably around 1975 or 1976.

WBCCI numbers

When one joins the Wally Byam Caravan Club International, one pays dues to the club and in turn receives a set of red decal numbers, two WBCCI stickers, and a yearly subscription to the club's magazine which has articles of AS interest and caravan dates and sign-up information.
