Scout Truck Update

Ok, ok. The Scout Truck is complete. All that is left now is the display case. I've put together the glass part and just the base is left. I've a few ideas to really make the truck look right at home but am sidetracked on other projects at the moment.

Here's a few pictures of the completed truck.

Yes it did but getting a scale hose and sprayer was a challenge.

Update: Since I really enjoyed building this, I'm building one for myself.

Stay tuned.

You need a C-10 on that truck.

Don't I wish Steph.

Glen - I sure could use some under the hood shots of your truck. Is it really a '59? A 6 cylinder to boot?

I've sourced a '58 Chevy pickup cab from an aftermarket resin company and have the chassis plus interior done. I'll post a few pictures later today.

I LOVE the engine details! I used to build models and only about three days ago I finally gave away all my stuff to a neighbor for his kid to build. Just not enough time, and no space for a craft table in the new house. I love seeing the stuff people build. That takes a lot of patience!

I should have known you were a model builder Steph. Thanks for the compliment. I'll post more pictures as I progress through this build.

For anyone interested, here's another update photo. Been building the ribs for the camper portion and hopefully can source some new printing plate for the inside and outside shell. I plan on having the roof lift off so the inside details will show.
