Hi Folks,

We have a club member in the Piedmont NC unit with a painted 99? Safari 25ft..
I remember seeing the unit a few years back at ODM.
I think it was a brownish/gold color.

It can be done.

Three years sgo while in Boothbay Harbor Maine (great plsce) a fellow from Florida (if I remember correctly) gave me a tour of his Airstream motorhome. As I approached it I couldn't help but think how this very much older unit looked better than my almost new Safari 22 (traded her for a 25'). His motorhome was painted a beautiful metalic silver. When my trailer gets much older it is something I would consider.

Andy,

Your guess is as good as (and probably better) than mine. This trailer had extensive modifications, both at the factory and on the road. The gas lines between the tanks are arced upward. Maybe a 3rd or 4th spare tire. The other 2 spares were mounted on the back along with 2 tractor batteries. In Thank you Marco Polo they mention one trailer having 5 flats in one day. They also may have stowed a generator there. This trailer has an original Dometic AC. In Thank you Marco Polo they mention they had a separate area for the trailers with generators because of the noise. Some things I guess are timeless.

I appreciate everybody's thoughts... since nobody's saying it's super rare or saying it's a horrible thing I'll let the owner know and see what he wants to sell it for... if you wanna see more pics look for the ad

Good place for a spare tire.

Thanks.
