22' Custom-Hard to find info on these?

New here just wondering about Customs. I just picked up a 1958. Now need to sell cuz the one I have been wanting became availible. Its been difficult to find info on these or do I not know where to search. This one is pretty straight on the outside.... gutted inside.

Hi wiescapepod:

As their name suggests, "Custom" Airstreams were trailers that either were custom built, or were standard trailers that were custom-modified, to the order of a particular buyer. They were built primarily at the Ohio factory. They are not standard models, but "one-off" custom-built/modified models. That fact explains why there is very little information on them, other than the fact that Airstream would "customize" any of its trailers at extra charge for a demanding customer. So you will have to study your Custom trailer itself for clues about its original or former state. Good luck!
