My Fugly 62 Ambassador Bunkhouse

I just sort of fell into this Ambassador. I drove by it for a year and stopped when my granddaughter suggested it. The price was right. The owners have to move by Saturday and needed it gone. It was last registered in 1982. Basicly intact (except for missing bunks) original and sound.

No worries about clearcoat or silicon here thanks to the PO's affinity for white paint and tar.

I also notice there has never been a thread about a 62 Ambassador on the forums. Any info or comments will be appreciated.

Hey I just noticed under the white paint is a plate riveted near the door next to the International and other AS plate that says Nan Motors, New Delhi, Calcutta, Bombay with a date stamped in from 1964. Could this coach have been in India in 64?

I asked the forums to create this category about a month or so ago. We have not posted anything as of yet. I will post some photos, I am not sure if you remember our trailer from the Vintage Restoration Rally in ABQ this April but it is a 62 Ambassador with the double bed.
