Replacement TV

Just bought a 2008 19 ft International which has a Sony analog TV. Since digital flat screens have come down in price I am thinking of replacing set instead of installing an analog to digital converter. The current TV is a Sony measuring 15 by 15 and is mounted on an articulating arm over the refrigerator cabinet. Does any one know what TV AS uses now in place of the Sony or will any same size flat screen work? The input plugs are at the bottom of the current set.

most [all?] new flat screen tv's have 4 holes on the back to match up with floor or wall stands.

make sure that any new tv you buy has the holes in the location as the current support arm in the AS. if not, you might have to buy a new support arm.

any of the current 'branded' flat screens are good. we happen to have 2 visio flat panels which work great for us.

I believe the factory install is a Samsung. My 19' Intl ccd did not have a tv so I got a swivel mount and Visio tv from Costco. The hardest part was finding the wiring to Sony sound/dvd system. But all works great.
