Italian Night

Tonight we had sausage and peppers. AND Gemma cooked! So you know what that means: sausage and peppers, AND rice. Yup, that's what it means alright.

The Night Before Italian Night

We had grilled ribeye steaks with sauteed Brussel sprouts and roasted yellow and purple marble potatoes. And, um, steamed rice.

Guess Who is Comming to Dinner?

Tonight's Dinner was Pasta Primavera (the lite version), grilled chicken and white wine from a private winery in Kansas we acquired while visiting friends last summer. Dessert was Chocolate pudding topped with whipped cream. Our dinner guests were John Coltrane and Miles Davis. No....., no monthaversary, our universe has been returned to normalcy (the girls have returned to college, spring breaks are over....., um......, my bad? ).

(and apparently I'm experiencing technical difficulties, the pictures return to their original rotation when I upload, sorry)

It's snowing to heavy to grill my short rib dinner outside tonight. So, Lynn, took care of it in the kitchen. I've been salad plate entres lately to reduce my intake. Less is definitely more.

Faith and Begorrah!

We had corned beef and cabbage on Saint Patrick's Day. And rice. Can you see it peeking out from under the beef and potatoes?

The Day After That . . .

Gemma cooked dinner! Pad Kraprow; stir fried pork with Thai basil and bell peppers. So, yup, rice with that.
