We had hours d' voures, grilled steaks, lemon pepper veggies, potato salad and dinner rolls. we were planning on grilled Grouper, but the weather was too uncertain when I was buying the entree, so I opted for the steaks. They are more forgiving on a Foreman grill if we had to use it.

Wild Hogs is not just a movie, there is a season on them here, they are bigger than the deer.

Tostadas

We have some leftover steak and chicken, so will make some tostadas with corn tortillas, beans, guacamole, lettuce, cheese and salsa. Yum!

Pasta in a white clam sauce with homemade potato bread to dip in a virgin olive oil and spice mixture (don't be impressed, I have a bread machine).

Tonight will be Takeout:
An INCREDIBLE Home-Cured, Thick Sliced Bacon Pizza from our local spot: Smith's Pizzaria in Norfolk, NY 315-384-4399. I don't know if they'll ship, but it would be worth a call. [Disclaimer: I have no financial interest in this establishment.]

Tonight it's 6 lbs of slow-cooked [24 hrs in the crockpot with my special spices and beer] pulled pork tenderloin BBQ on toasted bulkie rolls, with a side of my coleslaw and 3 bean salad. My wife, my Dad [86] and his companion, and that's a nice family meal. Mmmmmmmmm...! Some for now and 2 batches in the freezer. Wish I could share it with all of you!

mmmm lots of great dishes here. On the simpler side for us, we had pot roast and mashed potatoes. Meat and potatoes and bread and butter is favorite fare around here.
