Hot dogs with Wolf Brand Chili in Hot Springs Arkansas....
We're on vacation and I found my husbands favorite chili in Oklahoma at a Casino Truck stop.
It was tasty! We have been gone for 2.5 weeks in the MH and still enjoying...
This is our first night of hot dogs during the whole trip. Must go shopping

Sounds yummy to me.
Wow, already 2.5 weeks. Time just passes by quickly, doesn't it. I hope you guys are enjoying your adventure. See you soon!
Oh! We went to our local pub, nothing has changed. I need to learn to enjoy cooking.

We have Burt's son and wife visiting from STL, so we are having king crab legs and boiled shrimp. Now if you ask about tomorrow night, maybe a hamburger?

(at home) I think I am going to make a "baked papaya" recipe. It has ground meat, tomato baked in papaya w/ cheese sprinkled on top.
Yesterday was baked talapia (in the toaster oven), with leftovers from Thanksgiving - black eyed peas & baked carrots

I'm taking a buddy out to see a very early Flying Cloud almost identical to what he's bought and not yet touched. He's been in mine but mine is already mostly done and he needs to be in one that is about to be. Another buddy bought this one last summer and is intending to redo it this spring so we are hoping the two of them can do them at the same time since they are looking for the same end result and have about the same amount of work to do.
What does this have to do with what's for dinner tonight you ask yourself?
Well, after we've done the tour we are going to a '50's diner. They make milkshakes the way they should be made, have incredible french fries, and I'm a vegetarian but I'm told the hamburgers are made just the way people remember them from the old days. This diner has been around since the 40's and is fun to visit, very clean, and has retained all of the booths and decor over the years. So there'll be a couple of milk shakes on the table, at least one hamburger, and for me probably a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich, with loads of fries. Cholesterol city big time.

Cool, I made venison chili last weekend and will be doing up another batch this weekend. Leon harvested a small buck about two miles from our house this year. It's good to have (he had a long dry spell where the hunting was not successful).

I ate higher on the hog tonight, had grilled pork chops!
I wasn't able to hunt yet this year, too busy with work. Florida has a long extended season so I may wait until Febuary for muzzleloading season. I like to hunt in Kentucky but couldn't break loose this year. Deer here are about the size of large dogs.
