We had freshly caught sea Perch with home brewed beer...It was great.

I did some tractor work for one of my neighbors, so he paid me with fish that he caught today and a 6 pack of his beer. ;>)

that looks pretty good. We're having pork chops tonight. These have been tough beyond tough, so I'm going to brown them and then cook them in the pressure cooker. These are beautiful looking chops, but beauty is as beauty does.

Catching Up

Wow-come on folks, are you not having anything for dinner?

Okay, we had lobster with melted butter and lemon, broccoli and rice on June 6th.

And . . . Catching Up Some More . . .

Here's some more of what we've had this month:

You may have to match up the descriptions with the images.

Ribeye steaks with grilled asparagus, home fries and rice. Yes, that's right potatoes AND rice!

Flank steak with sauteed New Zealand spinach from our yard.

Fettucine with brown butter, parmesan and crimini mushrooms.

And finally, strawberry shortcake with home made biscuits, taken in front of the computer keyboard. See the "control" key?

We pulled into our campsite last night, and started cooking hamburgers and steamed asparagus (we like things that cook quickly the first night) when a neighbor came up to admire the Argosy. After the tour, he brought over a sample of his dinner for us to try: grilled salmon with lime, wrapped in corn tortillas with guacamole, onions and green pepper. So much better than a hamburger!

I love how easy it is to make friends when you have an Airstream!

My mouth started watering just looking at your pictures!!! What are those things your DO's are sitting in/on? DO liners, perhaps?

Cheers
