Surf/Turf

Fresh caught crab for Gemma, ribeye for Murray. Steamed rice, snap peas and roasted carrots. Some more homemade devils' food cake for dessert (it's just the two of us).

Leftover crock pot pork roast, with potatoes, carrots, celery & onions - and homemade gravy, of course!

Those chickens from Brazil must be pretty expensive?

George W. Bush is told several Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq.

"Holy cow! how many more than a million is a brazilian?"

Cuban Picadillo. Lean ground pork, sauteed with onions, garlic, pimento stuffed olives, cubed potatoes, tomatoes and peas. Served over steamed rice. No dessert-we polished off the devil's food cake last night.

We had chicken alfredo and a revisit of last night's mixed veggies in garlic sauce. If nothing else, I haven't seen a vampire in a couple of days now...

Oven roasted, dry rubbed chicken. Homemade pico de gallo. Steamed rice and green beans. And hopefully, something for dessert if we get our act together.

Hawaiian pork and taro root stew with steamed rice and bok choy.

Homemade banana bread with cream cheese frosting for dessert. (We did get our act together last night and made dessert after dinner.) Yay banana bread! YAY cream cheese frosting!

Marie found the garlic when we got back, so the fast food went in the fridge, and we had shrimp scampi. I guess none of the cast members of "Twilight" will be joining us for dinner...
