We are in the land of abundant, fresh and very cheap shrimp. Are having a shrimp saute with garlic/fresh lemon, orzo pasta with garlic/fresh parsley and fresh spinach. All cooked outside.

Swiss steak, baked with dressing straight from our late summer garden: red and yellow tomatoes, green and red peppers, red and white onions...rich and yummy served over noodles...on the side, salad also "stuffed" with garden produce. ~G

Last night we went to the local diner [Miss Molly's] and split a hamburger club sandwich and one order of homemade fries. Dessert was ice cream -strawberry cheesecake for her, candybar overload for me- in homemade waffle cones. Yum!

Crockpot chili, derived from yesterdays Manwich batch, then added tomatoe chunks and went to the deli and got a traditional broiled chicken, carved off two breasts and doused the chili onto that...then tomorrow I will add....
