In my Interstate storage space is at a premium and counter space is nonexistent (NO galley counter-top at all unless I close the lids to my sink and/or my stove), so I have no room to carry a coffeemaker at all. I carry a teapot that I can use to heat water, and get by with instant coffee.

Which isn't an answer to your question, but your question made me wonder if there's such a thing as a cute teapot…

It's not CUTE at all, but along the lines of what Protagonist said you could get a cute teakettle. I have a kettle that's not necessarily "cute" but it's special to me because I inherited it from my best friend. It's a very '70s color, at least, so it goes with my trailers. I usually make single-mug pour-over coffee in the Argosy, using one of these plastic Melitta pour-over cones and a #2 filter:

Single-cup pour-over

I have a Hario hand-cranked burr grinder and grind beans right before brewing, but you can just as easily buy ground coffee if space is a bigger concern.

Another option I take with me sometimes is a stainless insulated french press, but it's a bit fiddly to clean in the trailer.

We have a Hamilton Beach that will make 8 or 16 oz. into your own cup, mug or large sipper, no glass pot to keep from breaking. It uses regular ground coffee, not those little plastic cups that look like coffee creamers. It only takes up about 6" x 6" square of counter. We payed $60 at Wal-Mart.

Espro. Various sizes, better filtration than traditional French Press, insulated, unbreakable. If you want cute, you could get the blue one I suppose.

I have one of these at home and one in my camper.
They're all I've used for 30 years.

Best Cute Coffee Maker

I purchased a Bunn- My Cafe to replace my Keurig. It makes a great cup of coffee and is very versatile (uses either ground coffee, K-Cups, or pods).

It gets good reviews,

I have had it almost a year now and absolutely no problems.

Just use what you use at home. Airstreamers are not roughing it.

Black&Decker space maker grinder and drip coffee maker in the galley of our 30 safari bunkhouse. I am a coffee snob, not a bad cup of coffee. Three years and about 40,000 miles later... Still going strong.

I like this thread - none of the animus that seems to pervade threads on hitches, tow vehicles or tires!!

John S.
ps, I vote for the chemex style myself.

I don't if Lucy's coffee could be considered "cute", but it is at least "handsome". It makes a ten cup pot and travels well when strapped in its spot.

I'm afraid that a "cute" coffee pot would have trouble satisfying my coffee addiction.
