When we were looking for flatware we were also trying to get the Atomic stuff.... Someone outbid us on Ebay! Hmmmm! I guess now I know who that was...LOL! It also looks as if Jerry will be spending some $$$ on Corelle dishes due to this thread! Wow... now this is real POWER just think what forces could be at work here. I wonder what Corning/Corelle stock sells for these days? Better call my investment Guru and cash in on the surge in the stock price after everyone gets that Perfect pattern. I know that Wally World here carries several different patterns but my guess is that the big outlet mall store probably has many more styles. I bet this opens up new additions to this thread....he he he! Devious ain't it! Ed

When going formal in "Ruby", I use the Taylor Smith Taylor 4523 rose pattern china dinnerware that came with my 1948 Wee Wind and was used by the first owner, Ruby Mann. To pack for travel, the plates are separated by napkins, wrapped in a knotted cotton dish towel, put in a paper bag then stored in the overhead cabinet. The cups are "spooned" together with napkins between them. The flatware is old stainless steel. Here is a glaring backlit photo of old elegance on my stainless galley top :

Not me I hope!!! I've had mine for about 5 years now ~ I even sold my "spares" for someone else to enjoy.

Well, our plates and ware are not exactly 1967, but close enough: Presumably 1974. Several years ago, the film "Off the Map" was being made around Taos, and when they were finished, they took their props to a local second-hand store and got rid of it. Maria happened to be there when they arrived and nabbed what she could.

I think im also one of the overdoers on the interior stuff ,we have alot of vintage stuff in it ,like the GE toaster and lots of small period items like original vintage brillo pad in the box ,old pennsley clothes pins in the box and vintage film camera turquoise ,and a Maid of Honor sears vintage ice crusher wall mounted same color as well ,transistor radio ,an 70s GE television, table
top model in a teal color ,its a 12" black and white .plastic case style .We have original vintage window awnings made for the trailer from the original owner ,turquoise and white ,you guessed it .Those kinda got that whole
style of color going ,though im quite happy with it as well .The whole vintage
ambiance is what I like .I have picked up a couple of vintage turqoise untensils as well ,the large stew fork and spoon and a ladle ,they are the same as my mom had many years ago ,but hers were the black ones .Im
always looking in the antique stores for good vintage finds ,like the 60s GE telechron kitchen clock ,its beige and fits the style well .
Shari, I apologize for the inference just thought it might have been you as the pattern was the same one, but that auction was 2 years ago!
As for following up on the replies above I too have the Aqua items to "season" the trailer with. Carol and I have been rabid antique hunters for many years and we came across an aqua Maid of Honor ice crusher and aqua melamine salad fork and spoon with silver look plastic handles long before dreaming of an Airstream to travel/camp in. We collect a variety of antiques but no furniture to speak of, mostly small appliance items like the '60's aqua circulating fan which will also migrate from the house use to the trailer. Carol also found and fell in love with and old Pink General Electric/vacuum tube clock/radio that will probably find a new home in the trailer as well. It's been around here at least 5 years longer than the "Landshark" but we think it will fit right in. My mother passed away 6 years ago and one of the things she loved to do was make kitchen towel sets for all the family members. After she passed away we (inherited) a new set of her towels that have green, aqua and yellow flowers on the towels and bright yellow crocheted tops on them with the button (Yellow) to hold them on the galley cabinet doors. They will make the transfer to the trailer also as we never have had a color scheme in the house to utilize them. Ed

OK, you all did it. We went to the local outlets and now have a set of the Corelle "Simple Lines" pattern. Great deal on a set with large plates, small plates, bowls, and mugs. Even have coasters to match.

Several years ago we were at a Corning outlet in Corning NY and we bought 48 each of a couple of sizes of plates and bowls to use when we entertain. Plain white - very simple. They're thin, stack easily and are much better than paper plates - both envrionmentally and by being nice and sturdy. So, we raided our supply of party dishes and we pulled out 6 or so of each size.
