Popped a weld holding the front leg of my Weber grill a trip or two back and had to safety-wire it today to make the cooking surface level for tonight's hamburgers at home.
Kim bought me this grill just after Daniel was born. He turns 19 in a week or two.
In almost 65,000 miles of Airstreaming, it has been on just about every trip in addition to being our "daily griller" at home.
I am super-impressed something other than my '67 Overlander has lasted so long. Weber Grills Rock!
Yep I believe Weber grills rock! I have three 21” , two at the cabin one at the house and one 18” that I just re-furbished and that’s what I take with me camping. It just needed new grates and the ash vents replaced. I bought the 18” kettle grill back when I was 19yrs old. If you think the kettle grills are good go get you a smoky mountain smoker and give one of them a try. Nothing like a New York strip cooked over red hot coals!
Now add the Pizza attachment and stone; best wood fired pizzas; we like either apple or pecan wood. The pizzas were good before the attachment, but now . . .!
Also get the venturi it is great for indirect cooking. Smoked fall off the bone ribs in 2 1/2 hours.
