Their website says 33# a day, with first batch within 15 minutes! Is that the case?
So worth it!

Hmmm... how big is it, and how much does it weigh.
(Red will want to know that, also.)

I have a different (Mr Ice, or something) but similar brand -- 35# per day. The big deciding factor for me was power requirement. My little Honda EM650 generator, 650 watt, can run it. I have no idea how much power the other brands require, that is up to you to study. For size, it is about a 20" cube. and weighs less than my little generator which I lift with one hand.

It's like you can read minds!
-Red, a little weirded out...
That was a lot more ice than I was expecting.

Before leaving on trips, I fill a gallon size zip-lock freezer bag with ice cubes and put it in our AS freezer. I also fill four ice cube trays and put them in the freezer. The cubes in the trays are frozen by the time we leave on our trips. I use the cubes from the zip-lock bag and replenish as needed from the cubes in the trays. Then, I refill the trays and put them back in the freezer. By the time the bag needs replenished, the cubes in the trays are normally ready to go. Make sure the trays are refilled at the end of each day and you'll normally have a fresh supply of cubes every morning.

[QUOTE=Cannonball;1569804]Yeti makes a bracket that you can insert into the slot on the edge and lock the cooler to something with a cable lock.
I will have to check into that for my new cooler.... The 'Coolest' cooler - 60 quarts of style with a built in blender, music and way, way more
Can't wait for it to ship! ...and I'll need the ice for the margaritas!
