Hot Buttered Rum Mix
1 lb butter, softened
4 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
1 1/2 cups honey
1/4 cup rum extract
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
Mix together til well blended, pour into containers of choice and freeze. This makes a huge batch, but keeps well in the freezer and makes a nice gift.
To serve: 1 heaping tablespoon of batter
1-2 ounces good rum
boiling water to fill mug
Stir well and sip slowly.
Irish Hot Whiskey
In a mug, preferably glass:
1-2 ounces Jameson Irish Whiskey
1 sugar cube
1 slice lemon, studded with three cloves
boiling water to fill mug
Stir well and sip slowly.
