Electric Pressure Cooker

Yesterday Steve and I found a Cuisinart Pressure cooker for sale at Costco. Does any one out there use one in their Airstream? What kinds of things do you cook in it.

Thanks

Anne Marie

Haven't seen the electric one before, but if it works like the old stove top ones it should be great. Things that I cook in a pressure cooker: Roasts with veggies, whole chicken off the bone in under 30 minutes, beans, rice, etc. Two things that I like about using the pressure cooker; it cooks fast so it saves on fuel and it keeps the heat down in the kitchen. Sort of an old school microwave. I have a several different brands and sizes. Smallest one is about 1.5 liters the largest is over 8 quarts. We also have one monster that is over 20 quarts that we use for canning.

We don't have an electric model but use the stove top model. As others have said it's a great time saver and you can't beat the flavor and tenderness of a chuck roast done in it.
