Coffee Grinders

We use a stove-top expresso pot and prefer (sp?) fresh ground coffee in it but both of our grinders are 120v appliances that may not be appropriate for boondocking. Does anyone know of a 12v or battery-operated version?

Thanks.

Rob

Here's one that works regardless of your electrical hookup.

Much better but still $39. I guess we're going to have to get one, though. *digs out CC*

If you go to Coffeegeeks.com and look under Consumer Reviews you will see over 1,400 coffee grinders listed. Or you could just buy a good manual grinder, like a $75 Zassenhaus, and not worry about electricity. Not every grinder, manual or powered, will grind beans fine enough for expresso.

Found a hario @ Amazon for $30 including shipping! Looks to be the real deal.

Well the hario works but very slowly. I guess I'd better find myself a 12v version.
