Boondocking camp table
I am wanting to get a folding table to take with me for use when boondocking. What is everyone else using?

We found a real nice one at Sam's Club. Folds up nice and comes in a carrying case that has wheels, like a suitcase.

One we like because it transpots in a bag is one like this. Seen it at Wally World as well, for less...

We use the same one as balrgn
Bought it at CW. It is a lot sturdier then I would've thought too. We had a dust devil blow through the campground between trailers and it took the table and smashed it into the site picnic table. It didn't even scratch it (or knock it apart). I just had to pick it up and dust it off. Put something heavy on it if it is windy.

We use a 4' square aluminum slatted roll-up table. We purchased it many years ago at Wal-Mart. I have seen rectangular versions of the same table at BJ's recently. Cost at BJ's was $49.

We have the square slatted table also, but my favorite is a rectangular Coleman table we got at Cabela's. It sets up sturdily and has an additional fold out table portion that extends the set up if you wish. We use it for a cook table, hang our utensils on it...very useful and doesn't take much space in storage.

Check this out.
Coleman Compact Table with Cover - Wal-Mart
I intend to get one. Several folks we know have them and all agree they are excellent for trailers. Easy and lightweight for storage, a good size for camping, and sturdy and easy to keep clean.

Northwest Territory makes one that folds in half with a carry strap handle. The really nice feature that we like is it adjusts to 3 heights. The highest makes it a great work station. We have 2 and find them very usefull.

New trailer, new boat, new house...........all the same.
A new car is one of the few things that comes the way you want to use it.

We have a 4 legged version similar to that one. About half that size. I don't think it is a Coleman brand. Susan picked it up at Wally World. Not much $$$ and purdy dern sturdy.

Anyone seen the folding picknick table at Sams? White plastic top and benches folds down flat about $100.

i'm on a new diet, no bread ,no processed foods and you show me what used to be my favorite camping pig out.my mouth is watering and i will have a deep fried chicken dream tonight. i agree, keep it simple.paper plate and no need for a glass ,just unscrew the cap and swig from the bottle. oh, no alcohol either, swig WATER from the bottle.if i had a table i would trip over it in the dark because i dont have a flashlight either.

I couldn't help myself. I had to post some pics of my vintage fold up table. I've yet to see another one like it. 2 1/2" thick folded and 29 3/4" x 72" unfolded, All aluminum and even a vintage red glitter handle. Robert
