New Grill
I just received this for my birthday and it is great! It is the O Grill from Iroda. Larger cooking area than the Q and much more compact and easier to store. Not to mention the "Cool Factor"

Louis;
Is this a gas grill or electric? Looks like it could be stored about anywhere in an A/S.

Bob it uses the small propane cylinders and the best part is the legs fold up and it is designed to stand up on end so it is very thin and will fit in a closet.

Is it available in silver? How does it cook. I like the shape. Very retro/very futuristic at the same time.

It is available in 6 colors and yes silver is one of them!
Here is the link to a website featuring this grill. It was purchased locally at a fireplace/BBQ store called Barbeques Galore and was a better price than advertised on the web. It cooks very well and I love the fact that it stands up on end for stowing.

I love our Cobb grill too, but I have you had any luck doing anything with the 'moat'? I have not. Anytime we try to cook veggies below in the moat they never get cooked. I have been very happy with the performance of the grill though, and smoking.

Tin Hut: Take a look a the Weber Q 120 gas grill, have had one for two years and it is great. You might want to consider the rolling cart that you put the Q on and roll it around and it folds up with the grill on it. The Q series comes in various sizes, but since it is the end results the size does not matter!

Weber Quality
I recently purchased a Weber Q200 with the folding stand. The Q200 is cast aluminum and typical Weber high quality made in USA. I planed to get the smaller Q120, but the Q200 was offered at the same price. I use it at home and with the folding cart, it easily goes in the back of my TV when we go out with our AS. The gas control works vary well and is extremely adjustable. I have used it for fish, steaks and pork chops with great success. I had a cheaper gas grill that rusted through the heat shield and it was not very adjustable at all, making it easy to burn whatever was being cooked. As usual, one gets what one pays for.
It looks like the Weber Q200 grill will last for many years.

I agree with you Dennis, the Q 200 is awesome. I do not have one but my buddy who we camp next to twice a does. We have cooked ribs, steaks and burgers for as many as 40 people. Really great grill for 2 to 6 people.

The only grill has to be the Weber Smokey Joe. Its compact and uses charcoal, the only true way to cook. Sure you can slap some store bought frozen 50% beef burgers on gas burners and burn it to a briquet or you can slow down get some real beef and cook it slow over coals on a Weber. Best bang for the buck. I have had my Weber Performer at home for tens years now and it still works great.

I have no idea what works best for everyone, but I know what I like. After cooking with many types of grills: gas, wood, charcoal, electric. This is the best I've ever used:

We've kind of changed 'camps' a few times when it come to BBQ's...
1. We used to use a 'cheapo' type of hibachi that used briquettes...worked 'OK', wasn't fancy, and when it finally got a big crack in the side, was easy to let go due to it's $10 cost...
2. We then started down the propane 'path' with several experimental grills that usually only lasted one season before the burner corroded away, or the spiders were so entrenched in the gas jets that it wouldn't work as advertised...our latest, and still 'kicking' model is that SS 'suitcase' type unit mentioned by others here, that we bought from Lowe's...we use it occasionally, but it's a pain to pack, and 'weeps' grease when it's seen a few days hard use grilling big slabs of meat!
3. Read about the COBB grill here on Airforums, checked it out, and found the least expensive one could be bought from TARGET on line! We received ours a couple of weeks ago - they are really well built, all SS, and as advertised on their web site...used it for the first time last weekend, BBQ'd an entire chicken with ease, using ONLY 10 briquettes...took 1-1/2 hrs cooking time - it was a plump, range runner...
I think we'll continue with the COBB for a while and see how it does in the long haul...it's just about the right size for the two of us - if you're trying to grill for a crowd, you'd need something larger...
with all the great new briquettes that have smoke wood pressed into them, 'smoking' becomes easier than ever...
the only other downside I can think of is that some RV parks don't allow any BBQ's other than gas, as they don't want to deal with hot coals
being thrown into the trash...fire danger, don't ya' know!
4. When my lotto ticket matches the numbers big time, I think I'll order one of these and just 'blow' away the competition...

Weber Q
Found this one this morning at a garage sale. Bought it for $5.
It was dirty but put the pressure washer to it and cleaned up great. Hooked up the gas and fired right up.
I've already got one so I'll give it to my Dad.
Some days it pays to stop.
