It is a wish list, after all...

I wish I had a 20' FC. I've got a triple axle money-pit and a double axle money-pit....just need a single axle money-pit (smallest I can get without a wet bath) to round things out.

Zackbilly that made me laugh. We have a 24 money pit, a 28 money pit, and bought 35 yr old money pit house to park them at. Wonder why have no money. But we've got lots of all the good stuff and enough projects to keep us camping, busy and out of trouble for the rest of our lives.

I secretly covet a small 61 something for the future that I can do up kinda girly, kinda silly, kinda Retro kitsch. But it'll have to be a small money pit to fit in.

Our Airstream wish lists resemble an endless list. For now we're sticking with getting water for 2016. Can live without electric but would like wash my hands or brush my teeth with using my water bottle or going outside.

I like it in my '06 safari.Cozy and no temp extremes next to the little double bed. I seem to always be touching that wall.

I was responding to mouse fur and headliner vs. aluminum skins on the inside.
Neglected to "quote" and then comment.
Oops.
Sorry.
There is no ugly Airstream!

We spent our first night in the 23D. We had forgotten the squiggly like lines at night on the shinny aluminum interior skin that are generated by the LEDs of the propane leak detector, flashlight charger and water heater on light.

The mouse fur does not provide that refective experience.

The airstream dealer in Cordelia/Fairfield Ca. has two door units. Salesman says they have the corporate ok to modify rigs from JC to two doors and keep the warranty.

Airstream service departments that are polite and eager to help and will get you in on a timely basis (like something sooner than 2-3 months out). Other than that...I'm pretty dang happy!

The service center at Jackson Center is the best.
With an appointment you're in and out.
They do a walk through, fix the trailer, then do another walk through to make sure you are 110% satisfied.
You can take a factory tour while you are waiting.

Ah, yes, the light at the end of the tunnel ... I thought you were advocating winching a $500 Northern Tool 4000 watt generator into the bed ...LOL...
the Honda 3000iS model will handle our running AC (only one), micro, induction plate, stereo, TV, and all other small appliances very quietly without modification ... but the expresso machine might not keep it all below the load limit. So, yes, the 5000 would be very nice! And, yes, we both agree on the remote electric start (also available for the EU3000iS)...especially as the temperature drops and the age increases.

Being serious, A screen guard with my forum signature on it by Vintage Trailering. Rocerante has their signature on their door, so I can't take credit for the idea. Average price 275 plus 16 shipping. Wheres that 10yr old kid who can show me how to cut and paste on computers. Knowledge is power, that's why I'm powerless

Funny, Bold Adventure's wish list includes a porthole on the bathroom door. We haven't even taken possession of our new Flying Cloud 25fb and my wife is already wishing for the porthole, similar to those on the Internationals. When we ordered the trailer, we asked the dealer what the factory upgrade charge would be. Although I can't remember his answer, it sounded pretty high at the time.

Is there anyone who has done this mod on the door? If so, how did you go about it? Is it a DIY project or could a door or glass place do it?

My wish list has one addition; repair rear bumper cap due to cold weather cracking. Finally got one bid on the floor and twin bed conversion. Sticker shock.

Maybe I should delete all my items on my wish list and just have one item; a new owner.

Let's see...

Paid it off.
Added solar.
Added disc brakes.

All that is left is. More time in it or on the road with it.

I would like some exterior speakers hooked up for the TV, stereo radio, and CD player.
A larger exterior storage compartment. A window canopy on the front of our Serenity.
A more comfortable front seating area.

And again more time and money to hit the road. I want to camp till I really WANT to go home. We've never done that. Another Maxim skylight would be nice. Only thing the AS really needs is spring and a little lovin'.
