When (just one of the many reasons) you marry your spouse is because her grandparents owned an Airstream; and even though you were never fortunate enough to meet them, you hope they would be proud knowing that you "rescued" it from sitting in the woods for 15 years...

Rivet hair accessories?

When you're brushing your teeth right before bed and you notice something stuck in your hair... Upon closer inspection, you discover it's part of a pop rivet!

So instead of wearing ribbons in your hair, you wear rivets in your hair! And you don't mind one bit

Hah! That's me and the kids! I even caught my 10 year old son rubbernecking one tonight that was on a used car lot sandwiched between two SOBs! Made me proud! LOL

If you watch the news and a segment comes on about how rich people paint their exotic sports cars chrome and wonder if its a safety issue since it glares so bad... and all you do is laugh hysterically

Your house has numerous projects to be done, not to mention a thick layer of dust everywhere, but your trailer is PRISTINE!

Your house has numerous projects to be done, a thick layer of dust and all of the needed Airstream pieces and equipment are staged in the house waiting for warmer, drier weather. Reach out a hand and you'll touch something Airstream related here.

Hi, you never plan on replacing the trailer that you bought brand new, but you still go to the dealer a few times a year to check out the new ones.

When someone who owns an SOB asked why you bought an Airstream and you don't even try to explain it because, obviously, they wouldn't understand.

When you have withdrawals if you don't visit your silver baby in the back yard FREQUENTLY between camping trips.

When you sleep, snack, watch television and read in the Airstream in the back yard instead of in the house.

When you see a camper rolling down the road (Airstream or not) and it makes you sad that your not camping.

When you smell burning wood/leaves/brush and it reminds you of a campfire and it makes you sad that your not camping
