When the Airstream stays stocked and loaded except for perishable goods at all times so when you get ready all you have to do is go...

When you are excited like a kid at Christmas waiting for Santa Claus before every trip. When visions of aluminum water heater and furnace covers dance in your head.
When you want aluminum covers for the white undersides of the storage bins for Christmas, birthday, or Father's Day...

When you don't look at the campfire, you look at the reflection of the campfire off the aluminum...and take pictures of it...really...

When someone says to me, "You're crazy! I can't beleive you paid that much for a trailer!"
I reply, "Maybe so." while thinking, "You're crazy for buying a new car every 2 years and eating out all the time and driving your kid to school instead of putting him on the bus, etc." It is OK to pay that much for a trailer if you will use it. I have many friends with $60,000 fifth wheels or $2500 pop-ups that have not been used in years. We actually use our trailer very often.

When you stop by the dealership where you purchased your previous square trailer to buy some little accessory the employee asks, "Is that you in that Airstream?" and you answer back, "Yup." and are beaming inside with pride and joy in your new shiny silver baby. After all their poor quality trailers and bad service drove me to purchase an Airstream. I wanted one before but had to try the other way first to justify the expense of an Airstream.
When the dealer, finance guy, salesman, general manager, part counter guy, and service technician at the Airstream dealer do not personally own an Airstream and covet mine saying, "When I get another trailer I'm gonna get a 25' Eddie Bauer." and I respond, "What are you waiting for?"
