Around Dec 28. Around Dade City, Fl. That is a perk of being retired and having wheels.

It will be spring when we go on daylight savings time.
Every time we set the clock back it gets cold and snowy.
Maybe we shouldn't do that anymore

I have not set the clock since I retired. I am hardly ever on time anymore. Do not care. Sorry, jim

No need to apologize for being late, Jim. Just so long as you're not "the late Jim!"

Besides, when you're retired, this is all the clock you need:

You can be late, but if your rent, car payment and girlfriend are all late then it is TOO LATE! Jim

Neat clock, I am retiring 1/1/2014 so I searched and found the exact clock on Ebay. Two had been sold in the last hour. I bought the last one the seller had.

To answer the question about Spring, "not soon enough"

It's 80 degrees here this afternoon. Spring like temps are good enough for us.

Flew from Phoenix to Indianapolis yesterday to have a Christmas weekend with two of my kids and their children. We were greeted with spitting snow. This morning there was 6" of snow with another 3 or 4 expected tonight. The rental car was not a 4x4, so getting around is a challenge.

We return next Wednesday to Phoenix where it will be warmer and some folks will enjoy the New Year's rally in their Airstreams.

Our new AIrstream enters gestation mode 9 January and should be done 15 January and in Phoenix area before the end of the month.

I am in severe withdrawal mode. I really miss going out. i had 160 plus nights out from April to November. I go in now, to check things, look for leaks and critters and sometimes nap. I look to my Airstream as a little escape place.

Me too (withdrawal mode - not 160 nights - quite jealous of that! ).

I stop by the trailer in storage every now and then and smile a lot. Then get back to real life, counting down the days to April when we head out to the mothership!!! Great way to kick off 2014 camping season! C'mon April!!! :-)
