Forget about waiting for spring! I'll have at least six more Airstream trips between now and then:
WBCCI GNO Unit Christmas rally (this coming weekend! St. Bernard State Park, LA. Have to miss the first day of it, though);
Christmas weekend (Lake Lincoln State Park, MS);
New Year's weekend (Natchez State Park, MS);
MLK Day weekend (location to be determined);
Presidents Day weekend (location to be determined);
Mardi Gras weekend (location to be determined, but definitely away from New Orleans).

Retirement is rough work, but somebody has to do it, chasing spring, summer, or fall temperatures all the time!
Woke up this morning with the windows open to a hawk screeching in the tree outside the trailer window. It is sunny and around 70 degrees this morning, but warming fast. It will be in the low 80's this afternoon in south central Florida. I hear it's rainy and cold as heck back home in NC.

Oh, and just think: You could be in cold country, too!

Oh how I wish our trailer was out front and not in storage...at least we'd have heat! No power due to the ice. Love the snow day (I'm a teacher but not likely two wild kids who can't go out and run around. It's raining off and on. No way to dry clothes or warm up. More snow expected tomorrow. Should get trailer out of storage and head south!

With the holidays coming up, I am just wondering how many nostalgic folks invested in AS cookie cutters, Christmas tree ornaments, or lights. Any AS stocking-stuffers for your loved ones?

Re: daylight savings. We actually live in a valley that never went on daylight savings: we are permanently on Mountain Standard. This is like regular Mountain time in winter, but the same time as Pacific Daylight in summer. It's nice not to reset our clocks twice a year, but it confuses the heck out of anybody else who wants to set a time to contact us (like our kids) except for the regional medical services in Cranbrook, BC, who constantly remind us that our appointments are on their time, not ours.

...snip...
Well, my amazing wife (who is a renter at a local pottery studio) used our Airstream cookie cutter to fashion a custom Tim Goat napkin holder with our WBCCI number! This only makes the winter longer as I REALLY can't wait to go camping now!!!!
