Funny! Ironic, too - my girlfriend is a fan of older movies; one of her favourites is Wizard of Oz. Something tells me she'll love it. Thanks!!

If you haven't named your trailer yet, you might want Toto.. or Tow Tow.

While ours have never had names, a good friend of mine has named her rehabbed vintage units. Her Trade Wind was named Winifred. Her much larger 30' unit is named Large Marge. Both appropriate for both. Here's their pictures.

Our Guys all have names. I guess that I do this because I was an only child. Our 2005 25FB is named Lucy. Her 3/4 ton Suburban tow vehicles are Olivia and Daisy. More recently, we have added a one ton pick-up and an Outfitter pop-up truck camper. The truck is Fred and the camper is Ethel. I have even named our two Honda generators. The are Amos and Leon. Actually, naming the generators has been very helpful in telling them apart for maintenance and individual use.

Here is a picture of Fed and the girls taking a break on our recent western trip.

Also thinking this works especially well due to the circumstances my sweet one has come to be mine. After many, many married years wishing and dreaming for a vintage AS and constantly being shot down for a number of reasons, I pulled the trigger almost immediately after the ink was dry on my divorce papers. This sweet baby signifies so much in my life right now - MY freedom, MY independence and many happier times. Selfish thinking? I don't think so- sharing the wonderful things in life with friends new and old makes it my gift to others. So there's my story- tell yours!
Ours is the Silver Slipper named after My Grandparents restaurant back in the 30's

As soon as you meet it and start talking to it like it was a family member, a name will present itself. Until today, your Airstream was a faceless stranger, and it was too early to choose a name.

I do know one SOB owner who named his 5th-wheel "Harvard" because he told his kids he spent their college fund to buy it! (He didn't really spend the kids' college fund, but they don't know that yet.) The kids took the idea and ran with it, so that after their first camping trip, they were "Harvard graduates"!

You never know where or when inspiration will strike.

AS #1 - The Masked Marvel #2 Marco Polo #3 is still #3.
I did a post after Thanksgiving asking for suggestions for #3 starting with M and received an immediate reply. Where or where did I, a newcomer but old man, post it? Anyone know where I can find other replies to my post?

In the thread, I would think. You can always see your old threads, by going to the User CP and clicking "View all Subscribed Threads." You're automatically subscribed to any thread you start.

PS— I might be the guy who immediately replied before, with the name of the mountaineer, "Mallory."

Our new to us Airstream is named Sylvie for the obvious reasons: she is silver and she will be taking us into the woods.

Latin Meaning:
The name Sylvie is a Latin baby name. In Latin the meaning of the name Sylvie is: From the forest.

Does that mean you've got a white tow vehicle named Snowy?
