"The LoveStream" is great! Hilarious story....

And I have a guitar named Sweet Pea...

It's looking like FIONA might be sticking. Especially after Ag&Au's clever deduction...Fun In Our New Airstream = FIONA. We both laughed at that one!! Very clever and cute and appropriate!

Based on all the 'troubles' we've encountered with ours, we decided 'Haven' was appropriate!

I'm leaning towards Grayair for ours and that will match my hair color. However in the motorcycle world, my hair is Chrome.

We were trying to decide what to name our new to us AS when I stumbled upon a note pad in one of the storage bins. One of the previous owners had scratched down some notes of things he wanted to accomplish with it. The title was "Don't mess with Ethel".

A few minutes later, the wife pops her head in and says "What should we name her??" I said nothing... just handed her the notepad and she smiled and said "Ethel... awesome."

Some more digging found more gold. I found an envelope stuffed with instruction manuals, receipts for things purchased, and PICTURES of 'ol Ethel in her prime.

As best I can tell, I'm the fourth owner of her and she's been in Arizona, North Carolina and Miami before settling with us in Tampa.

The tow vehicle is a 4x4 Excursion with a small lift, appropriately named: el jefe blanco.

You could have named your truck Fred. Then you would have Fred and Ethel, of the famed Mertz's. Sidekicks to Lucy and Ricky (I Love Lucy). Being that you have a "long, long, trailer" and all.

You may be too young to remember them.

I have never named any of the vehicles or trailers I own.
I have, however, called some of them names

Named Her Breezy Way

We came up with this one after the family ski chalet and cottage were sold. One was on Gondola Way the other was on Breezy Point. She is for sure the best of both worlds!

We've pretty much started calling ours the "Breakfast Burrito" after our favorite morning camping food. We always take a few with us wrapped in foil and heat them up in a skillet while the coffee steeps. The silver profile is remarkably similar.

Dang, just thinking about it made me salivate on my keyboard.

Our Airstream is the 'Desert Tortoise'. We like deserts, and we like to go slow.

We feel like our Airstream is a throw back in the trailer world, so we named her Lucy. The truck we named Desi. So we are travelling with Desi and Lucy in the Long Long Trailer.
