Santa came early to Texas this year and brought me a nice buck riveting kit from Vintage trailer supply.I can't wait to play with it,I've got some battery compartment doors to reinstall.I wonder how he knew I needed that.
What's Santa bringin Y'all?
Merry Christmas everyone.

Dang I could use all that stuff too! It seems like a never ending list of wants and needs. I guess that's half the fun!

Our 'Blue Halo' got it's DMV tags renewed recently...

It now knows it's got another year of legal road travel to look forward too - instead of a trip to the local metal scrap yard...(got to keep em' guessing, I say!)...

yea, right

"local metal scrap yard"...

Sorry, but no one is falling for that one. 1978? It's still a baby!

Hi, Santa was going to bring me a lump of coal or two, but even they, are too expensive now days. Instead, Santa found a great deal on a Kelty Light, as if I really needed another light. It was more of a want thing, than a need. Wife thinks I'm a flashlight freak or something. I think she might be right, but I'll never admit to having too many battery powered lights.

Santa's bringing me the whole trailer. But after Christmas, I guess so the elves can get through the requests for the other gifts first.

A new, deep Calphalon skillet with lid, one of those beautiful ones with grips on each side rather than a long handle to present a storage problem. Half price at TJ Maxx!

Already had bought one for the house, had to have one for on the road.

Christmas

Santa is bringing a Pressure Pro monitoring system. Since we are new "vintage" owners he earlier brought 4 new tires, a new converter and a Smart Tote. Good Christmas. Merry Christmas to all.

Even Santa makes mistakes...I hear from a good source that Santa shipped me 4 sets of baby moon hubcaps...that's right, 4 SETS...

It seems that the description on Amazon only sez Baby Moon HUBCAP...so 4 got ordered...(BTW, Amazon is low on stock of 10.125 ID Baby Moon hubcaps at this time )

A new stereo and subwoofer. Photos attached.

The stereo is a JVC KD-AHD79, iPhone compatible with two more aux inputs, one on the front and another on the back. Sound from the TV will go to the rear aux input. Also has a remote and a built-in HD radio tuner. Got it from Crutchfield.

The subwoofer is a polkaudio DB1040DVC 10" Subwoofer. I got it from Amazon. I will drive it with a Sansui SM-1500 amp that I already have.

I will have to build a box for the subwoofer and a new mounting panel for the stereo to replace the radio and separate cassette deck that came in the Excella. The JVC head will go in the top of the area where the former radio was, and the subwoofer enclosure will fill the space below. The box will be a little on the small side for a 10" subwoofer, but that's all the room I have. It'll be close enough.

This will be a project for the next couple of weeks. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where I work, closes for two weeks for Christmas and New Year's starting Tuesday. I'll have time to work on this then.
