What do you guys pay for storage?

My wife and I are currently shopping for airstreams to replace our fleetwood popup. The popup is the largest trailer we can possibly fit onto the cement pad beside our house that the previous owner installed for his boat. So any trailer even 1 ft longer than the popup is going to require us to pay for offsite storage.

Driving around this part of Central Texas I see quite a few RV storage businesses, often attached to storage unit places. Some are just parking areas open to the weather, others have large roofs to keep the sun and rain off. And I imagine there must be some places that have climate controlled indoor storage but I haven't actually looked. But it got me wondering what everyone else is paying for storage. So if you don't mind sharing the following......

Location
Type of storage (open air, roof only, climate controlled)
Extras? (water, electrical, services, etc)
Price per month
What you like/dislike or wish you had with your storage location.

Thanks!

We keep our Airstreams in our driveway beside and behind the house. Have you considered making the cement pad larger? Or letting the wheels go back to the back edge (unless ere is a wall there) and the tail overhang? We looked into storage, and found a huge, huge variety of pricing, quality, and services. At home we can keep them plugged in,which we like!

Location: Bend, Oregon (where almost everything is really expensive)
Type: Sheep Barn at the county faiirgrounds, fully enclosed, fully secure (no sheep)
Extras: Staff moves trailer in and out
Price: $75 a month, real bargain in Central Oregon

Only negatives are that trailer has to be moved out during fair season and they require 24 hour notice.

The previous owner ( and a friend ) of our trailer lives in eastern Kansas. Near Liberty, Missouri he had been using underground storage. Fully protected, climate controlled and I think it was in the neighborhood of $80 / month. Some parts of the country have all the luck. Not so here in the northeast.

Covered storage (open front shed), lengths available: 25-40 ft.
$75 to 120/month.
Electric available for maintaining batteries.Gravel drives and storage spots.

The gravel surface means the AS is always dusty.

I posted a picture in another thread.....let's see if I can link it here...btw, another AS has moved in at the end of the row......

Wow!
When we did have our trailer in storage it was $40 a month- an hour away from home and inconvenient-
After some tales of some trailers being vandalized we just brought it home and put it in the back yard, where it has been since.
We were originally concerned with rutting the yard and killing the grass, but we got over it.
We will build a shed for the Airstream one day, anyway.

Central Texas (Austin area)

Roof and back wall, on concrete. 12'x40' slanted back-in stall
30A electric, unmetered
Code gate, chain fence, numerous cameras, lights, other sensors, attendant sleeping on site, patrolled by retired law enforcement person some higher-risk nights.
$135/month.
10 miles from home. I pass the storage yard 3 or more days a week and check the trailer or do some maintenance most times I pass by.

We are paying $182 per month in heated storage 100 miles from home. We could not find any heated storage in the Lansing Michigan area. Not perfect but at least I feel it is in a good place.

San Diego (downtown)

Indoor, huge warehouse. Not climate controlled. Electric available to plug in and charge prior to a trip. Dump station available, but they prefer if you dump elsewhere.

When we pick up the RV, they park our car inside the warehouse.

$7/foot. So we pay $168/month.

20 minute drive from our downtown condo.

Happy with this arrangement so far.
