Two tone is best

Our truck is two tone. Not every color will work because our trailer has a blue strip and the awnings are blue/white strip. The truck and trailer must look good at the campground not just when towing.

Best tow vehicle?

Does this truck make my butt look big?

Ditto. We went with a RAM 1500 ECO Diesel, white with silver at the very bottom. It looks great with our Airstream.

I liked the color combination Airstream-2-Go was using for its rentals. The Chevy SUV was painted a bluish silver and had a close to Airstream Blue accent stripe. But - like another poster said - you really can't go wrong. Unfortunately it's not like the big Class-A's where you can continue the paint scheme onto an enclosed car trailer.

Mister Brodsky made the most sense in these replies....this is such an individual taste question....he nailed it. Pick whatever YOU /the wife likes best...THAT's what matters. But if you're serious about other's color mandate, go with Ray's advice (pink!). Safe travels, no matter how you end up. jon

I'm with KSteve. We have the exact color combo. But it's got to be how you roll.
We dithered between platinum white, platinum, grey and ruby red.
I even went to a car dealer and sat in the parking over different days for an hour or so looking as the light changed.
Then again, the truck was a large purchase.
That said, I wash monthly whether it needs it or not.

Good to see you back, Protagonist. Hope everything is OK with you. Maybe you won the lottery and were off to see the world, spent all the money and now you've returned?

Anyway, good to see you on the forum again.

Now that would look especially nice with an Eddie Bauer.

I saw a bootiful Airstream Classic at Va Highland Haven last week.. Very new 30 footer with a silver truck, but what was really dazzling was the awning color -- three tone striped silver awning. I know the awning wasn't metallic but wow, it looked like it was. DROOL bucket please.

I like contrast. Our truck color is called blue jeans metallic.

ID:	290049 I'm partial to my Metallic Grey. Provides some good contrast but complements the aluminum.

Great question! And the answer is...anything! Everythings looks good with an Airstream.

That being said, if I had unlimited color choice, I would select teal--would look awesome with the silver airstream and bring you back to the 20's/50's/80's color palettes. Or if you prefer--pink would do the same! But of course, you must consider the awning color, too!

We opted for a more conservative silver--we particularly like the continuous look.

It may have been better asking what color does not go with an airstream.
