Hey All,

My husband and I just ordered our very first Airstream (actually our first trailer ever) and are expecting it on September 20th! We ordered the International Serenity 19 foot. We have been lurking on this site for a while and decided to post now that we are officially Airstream owners. We look forward to being a part of the Airstream community!
We both come from families who have always camped and owned travel trailers, but neither of us had even been in an Airstream until we stayed at the Las Vegas KOA. They have Airstreams to rent instead of Kamping Kabins, so on our journey out west, we made a special stop in Vegas just to stay there. Needless to say, we were hooked. The Airstream is the nicest (and prettiest) travel trailer we had ever even been in! We can't wait to hit the road with our little weenie dog, Oscar!
This is going to be the longest eight weeks of our lives...

Welcome aboard!

The Serenity 19' is a wonderful work. A great floor plan for travel, love the front dinette/lounge and pano windows.

For all their goodness, Airstreams (like all RVs) need regular preventive maintenance to be a long and good companion. Learn these needs with special attention to corrosion and leak prevention, starting the day you bring it home.

Congratulations! Chris and I will be receiving our 1991 34ft 60th anniversary edition 'baby' next week and I can't stinking wait! Keep us posted with pictures and travel joys. Bon voyage!

Thanks, Bruce B! My husband and I saw the video your wife made of you getting the Bambi and that definitely helped us in our decision on whether or not to buy an AS. That video has to be one of the happiest videos on YouTube!
