Useless cabinet or not?

We are the proud owners of a brand new FC23FB and I have a question about the silly 2" deep cabinet below the wardrobe next to the fridge. Other models may have this cabinet somewhere else. What do you put in it? Seems such a waste of a cabinet door/hardware/ for a 2" deep cabinet. Right now, we are keeping the Airstream tote bag with the manuals in it, because it's the perfect size for it, But what do other owners store in the cabinet?

Thanks,
Seanette and Richard Meserole

Same here, foil, bags/sacks. But if you have space for these elsewhere the manual sounds like a perfect use. We put our manual on the shelf in the closet, but that will change when we get things perfectly setup. Only had this one since July 2018, so still fine tuning.

We put a folding step stool in ours. Great for the vertically challenged.

Thanks! I have a place for foil and ziplocks, but I LOVE the idea of the step stool. Right now it is in the wardrobe, but this space would be better for that. For now, we want to keep the AS tote with us even when we aren't camping, so I didn't want this space to go unused.

At different times, we have stored case can goods, dust pan and broom, and dog food in that compartment. We settled on the dust pan and broom. So, it is useful.

Same situation is true for the space under the oven. We find it very useful for can goods, aluminum foil and ziplock bags.

You will work out the storage plan over time. Do it how it works for you. Pat

Mine has cleaning supplies, dog brushes, lint rollers and some small plastic containers.

So far we have kept cleaning rags in that space. Going to try the manuals.
Our head-scratcher is the mini cabinet above the pantry slide out. Too deep to be practical for us...

We considered making it the wine locker, but way too small. Have used the seat opposite, but it's a bit constrained too. Removing the woofer helped considerably, but many would find that a bridge too far.

One caution - when storing liquids of any type, consider storing them in a secondary containment box, bin or pan. Cleaning up a pan is easier than the cabinet or floor. Pat

PS - and for the wine, those foam pocketed shipping containers make good storage and containment too.

One owner installed a dog food and water bowl station by removing the door. No, not worthless.

When we travel with our 13 yo grandson (we usually do), that space carries his Xbox console. When it's just grandma and me... well... it still carries his Xbox console, but I play the games on it!

I would LOVE to store alcohol in there but itís too narrow. Iíll check to see if smaller bottles fit and then decant into them. Thanks.
