Ukuleles & Airstreams

My wife and I have just purchased a 27' 1984 Sovereign. We are excited to be a part of the wonderful Airstream community! As a professional ukulele instructor, I've experienced a similar community-based group in the ukulele world. With the ukulele being well-suited for traveling, there must be a large number of Airstream owning ukulele players. I'd love to hear from you as we will soon be on the road full-time in the states seeking out like-minded players.

Have Ukulele. Will Travel.

Ukuleles and Airstreams.
What a promising combination.
Let's have "Ukulele Rally."

Wish you were closer. We are in SC and I have a ukulele. I sure could use some instructions. It would be great to have a get-together. A ukulele rally sounds great!

Sounds great, I've just started trying to play the ukulele. The more people around me that know what they are doing, the better I sound!

Just for Inspiration...

... Google the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.
That can be us after one Ukulele Rally!

Wow, it seems like ukulele playing could be rampant in the AS milieu!

Ukulele Rally sounds great!

What a great idea!

I took lessons when I lived in Hawaii. Darned 5 year olds always showed me up! Can't play a darned thing but the instrument is a great piece of art!

You need to do an instructional video for us closet Uke's t o learn from while we are out streaming!

I too am a Ukulele player here in Texas! Not enough of us in the world. Check us out on Facebook. Look for Ukelicious (the original-at least that's our story)!

Here's our Uke player in Norcal. He loves to play in the Airstream.

What a great thread! We have a few ukulele players that summer at the Minnesota Airstream Park. Maybe we can have a Rally for 2013. See our website at

We uke' do you? Yes, the uke is a great instrument for an AS, its a small instrument with a big sound. Loved the video... but kept waiting for rage stack of stuff on the left to tumble down... Keep playing and always remember to smile because its so much fun to play!
