Smile TV add for Xarelto

Has anyone seen the new TV add for the drug Xarelto with the Airstream ? I don't know any thing about the drug but I sure enjoy the Airstream and the scenery of the south west and Monument Valley.

I just posted a similar question in Airstream Sightings - wondering if anyone here loaned their AS to the shoot??

Thumbs up

Did you also notice that they had to change the TV, started out red and finished white...

My wife got so excited when you saw the add she recorded it so I could see it. Not sure what the drug is but my wife thinks I must need some of it.

It is the expensive replacement for warfarin/Coumadin used to prevent clots.

We saw the commercial last night, the thing I noticed was that is a large Airstream for a single axle. I didn't know they made them like that anymore

Well, at least it wasn't an ad for Cialis. Guess we don't have enough interior room for two bathtubs. (For the life of me, I still don't get the romance of TWO bathtubs!) Of COURSE I did notice some goofs in the commercial, but all of us on here would. I think an Airstream is a very romantic trailer....just climb in bed on a cool evening with rain falling softly on the aluminum and tell me THAT isn't romantic!

Yes, here is the link to Xarelto's recent commercial featuring a couple touring the Southwest in an Airstream travel trailer.

Blame the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board. Censors may allow broadcast television to show married couples in the same bed, but not in the same tub. Censors have dirty minds, and they can't even imagine that two people in the same tub aren't up to hanky-panky!

Saw the ad and at the time it looked like a 22' outside shot and the interior shots were of a 27 FB.

Best "Airstream ad" I have ever seen! What a MAJOR score for AS, huh? Their PR dudes and dudettes must be really on the ball. That was just Airtastic!

Xarelto commercial

Pretty sure the trailer they are using is a 22 FB sport -not that large. Probably a newer one. Single axle. The pictures of them that imply they might be in the trailer is not in this trailer.

Danielle and I saw the add this morning. It was difficult to know if the advertisement was for Xarelto or Airstream. The folks in Jackson Center gotta be lovin' life. I wonder if the new Airstream marketing manager was responsible for this product placement or if Xarelto approached Airstream?

Purpose-driven subliminal seduction?

Advertisers use red to get our attention. Red in the context of health also means critical. Blood. gore. Oh my gosh. We may die!

So, Jim starts taking Xarelto and his vehicle magically turns white. According to the Colour Psychology Wheel, white is the colour of "protection and encouragement, offering a sense of peace and calm, comfort and hope, helping to alleviate emotional upsets."

Or....maybe I just think too much (it was a bon fide error in continuity).....and need a pill to turn it down....a bit.

Being a pharmacist I usually notice these adds, however, this one I have not seen. Surprised Pharmgeek hasn't chimed in.

Eliquis is one I have seen quite frequently. No airstream in that one, though!

cptkel...I did chime in on this question in another thread

If you suffer from atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, or some form of clotting disorder....please talk to your doctor about taking some form of approved anticoagulant if you want to make it intact and above ground to your next aistream rally.

I am still a bit squeamish about the news ones on the market...they look promising...but what can and often does happen with repeated research, the initial findings may be a bit more robust than when conducted by third parties...

I am hoping things pan out well for these news "direct thrombin inhibitors"....easier for 'streamers and all other folks to travel for months without all the frequent mandatory monitoring....and you can enjoy that big serving of collard greens around the campfire.

Thanks for posting the link. My mom just told me about the ad, so I had to search for it. Fantastic!

Ah, the benefits of free enterprise.

The hundreds of thousands spent on this ad- including the Airstream rental- help to inflate the cost of the drug to the end user.

Americans already pay the highest cost for drugs in the industrialized world.
