Thor RIP
A moment of silence if you will.
For those of you who don't know, Thor...Cauldron of Death has been our traveling fire pit. Over the years it has served us well as a portable fire pit for communal sharing of stories and lies. Thor...Uno, or Thor the original, has been decommissioned. It has just fallen apart.
Not to worry. As anyone who recently attended Falluminum, you know that the second Thor, or as I prefer to call it, Thor...Duh (2), is alive and well. I think this name is appropriate as I travel with it on the roof of our truck. When people stop and ask what is that? I can now say, "That is Thor... Duh."
We have just added Thor...Zilla, our permanent stay-at-home fire pit. So, please, a hearty welcome to Thor...Zilla to our family!

You named your firepit? Wow, who names a firepit, or even more, 3 firepits?.
That is just so.........so.........well, actually it's kind of cute. Thor, god of fire? I get it.
Well, sorry to hear of Thor's demise. Congrats on the new Thors.
Note to self... get a firepit.

terryv,
You see Brad just kinda hangs around these days waiting for the mailman and the two older gals that push their walkers past the house while he's sipping his Chamomile tea. So one day he named his porta-firepit Thor. And on the advice of his Dr. we have just smiled and agreed, hi Thor, doing OK? got lots of hardwood piled up?
Kinda hard to keep up with a guy that lets a wheel fall off of his trailer, names his fire pit Thor and has a cow for his avitar. His wife is pretty special.
My fire pit has no name but you can see it from the satellite map.

Can't be sure from this angle (blush) but the bovine doesn't look like she's a "Brad" Or even a steer.
The Cow - what is she named? Oh, and is she down because someone was practicing the ancient and honorable art of cow tipping?
Curious minds want to know.

Gary, at the ever-present risk of sounding vain or shallow (I am both), in my travels I have stopped to get groomed for this upcoming event. Hope I look dashing, but the proof is in the pudding.
