The day has arrived....2016 Delivery

We ordered our FC 25 RTB in mid April, it arrived at the dealer just before the July 4th weekend, we were away celebrating the holiday with family in the Adirondack mountains, now back & ready to assume ownership.
This is not our 1st as we've had 5 previous RV's over many years but for some reason I have great expectations being a Airstream owner. Wish me luck.

Delivered last week

Picked up our new 2016 30ft Serenity last week. One of the last with recliners. Absolutely love it!

It's insane how you become attached to these. Last week we picked up our 2016 Interstate, which is now parked in our RV garage next to our 2008 Classic. I'm totally in love with both of them - unique in their own way; keeping both for different purposes. It can be argued that purchasing just one is an extravagance but with the recent death of a still-young family member and two close friends we realized that life is to be completely exhausted on a daily basis and this is how we choose to do it!

Walk through & delivery is set for next Wednesday. I was at the dealer today as there policy regarding payment is it must be paid in full 3 business days before physical delivery which I'm fine with. The ultra leather lounge & dinette cusions are jet black along with table & countertops finished in black with gold accents, really sharp contrast with the blond colored floor & laminate cabinets. Airstream for 2016 has a dimmable light bar the full length under the awning & rubber bumper end caps, upgraded AC vents & sound system. Aside from that, it's the same as previous year except 3 grand more expensive. When I ordered in April, I locked in the 2015 price so avoided the price increase. Due to unforeseen circumstances the first long trip won't be until after Labor Day but a couple short ones in the interim. Thanks for the good wishes!
