You might look in Cuba the next time you are there. Terrible situation. Did you have insurance? I have a designated value on ours that outweighs the blue book value. With all of the changes and it being a business, I would think you could do the same thing. Please keep us posted.

Stealing an Airstream used for travel/leisure is bad, but when they steal a person's business/source of income, it is unconscionable.

Yes, but the perp doesn't know which is which! I don't use mine for business - I use mine as a refuge from business. It is a rolling sanctuary worth far more than I paid for it. I would be crushed and deeply violated if it were stolen.
It's hard to imagine a scenario (save for something like Jean Valjean's loaf of bread) in which stealing is ever anything but unconscionable.
I hope the OP's trailer is recovered with no physical damage or loss and I'm really sorry to hear this happened to you.

So sorry to hear about someone stealing your AS. That is a downright mean thing to do!

Anyone with one of the big 3 pickups(especially Ford Super Duties and F-150's) should definitely consider adding the Jimmi-Jammer setup for the door locks, hood and tailgates. Also, a cheap smart phone left plugged in and left in your AS would serve as well as Lojack.

Many used car dealers, especially those who sell to buyers with poor credit, now have GPS with a kill switch installed in the vehicle. Customer is XX days late with his payment, vehicle stops running - and can be repossessed.
There is quite a bit of difference in laws from state to state but the contract between the buyer and seller often is the real governing document.

Except for being towed to a signal dark location I wonder how a "Tile" would work? Just glue it to the underside of your AC unit cover... Not very good range but it is another possible recovery assist.
You aren't going to stop a motivated thief.
On the other hand, it would be a shame if the AS had a "hot skin" condition... Poor crook.

Darn it!
Took a random gander on e-bay a few minutes ago, and there was a food truck Airstream ready to go in Colorado.
Unfortunately it wasn't yours, but for a minute there I thought "AHA! Haven't heard any updates on your stolen one, but if it was insured this might be much more "ready to go" than anything else you might find.
Please let us know if there's any progress. Paula

Owwww! This makes my stomach hurt! I can't imagine how badly you must feel! So sorry, this just sucks! Best thoughts for quick recovery and no damage. Wishing all sorts of unprintable curses on the scum bags.
