Stay Calm ~ Airstream On

Forums such as this terrific one, may lead a reader to think Airstreams are problematic. Reality check, everything in life is D.I.Y. to a point and forums like this are here to solve problems as well as share the glory. Share the joy....

WE LOVE our Airstream. I've been on the road for two weeks, riding bicycles with pals and generally enjoying a peaceful life. Our little FC 25' is a joy.

Go!

Couldn't agree more. We love our 28' International but I'm beginning to look at "B"'s and "C"'s to make life a little easier. LOL!

Love, love my Airstream and have very little problems. Next challenge will be learning to ride a bike again. It’s been 50 years since I rode a bike...lol

John Geisen would a motorhome be that much easier? Do you find it that difficult to hitch and unhitch, and perhaps maneuver?

I am considering a AS 25FB Twin, but also perhaps a Class C or possibly a shorter Class A.

Should we be whispering...

We've been living and traveling in our 1971 Sovereign for a little over a year. We're very pleased with our 47 year-old Airstream. No leaks or really any issues with the trailer. We love it!

We started our Airstream adventure with a 2008 Safari Sport and we loved it very much.
We recently moved to a 2018 Flying Cloud FB 23 that we have camped in twice for two weeks. We love it as well and are heading to Fl next week for a month and this summer will be traveling west for 2 months. Bicycling or hiking, either are great out of our AS.

I always have my bike along even when I'm towing the car too. So easy once the rack is in place.
A nice way to have a look around a new spot, and get a little exercise to boot.
There is something about the slow pace, open air experience to really get a feel for a place.

Cheers Richard

Tevake you take it to another level
Bill211 Infact we have our tandem with us. We've knocked out 55 to 75 mile rides every day for the past week. Come home, shower...snack...nap, go for a walk and marvel at what years of hard work have rendered. We regret nothing, this is a great move. I've been retired for 4 years and in 2 more Mrs. TT retires and this all begins in a new even better way.

Aside from the AWESOMENESS of these Airstreams, the people we meet are great too and we are now spending alot more time outdoors.

I've got a question. What if there were a group of Airstream owners who were also performance oriented bicycle riders and they found each other. Suppose they all meet someplace great for bicycle riding and let the good times roll?

How on earth could that happen?
