Spotted: Unique Airstream Cooler

Sharing this as an Airstream curiosity - not promoting it for sale.

Passing through town of Cocoa in Florida and spotted this vintage Airstream-shaped cooler. The artist is from Australia. Apparently Airstream endorsed the artwork/cooler. Comes with certificate of authenticity!

It is very heavy, even without the ice and beverages. Price was $700. We were on our tandem bike and did not buy it.

Seen them elsewhere

Some Bucee's locations sell them too.

I wonder if it leaks?

Tito's vodka made a promotional Airstream bbq grill that would make a great companion piece. They show up on ebay and craigslist from time to time.

I guess if anyone has a lot of time and some funds, they can buy an old AS body and make half of it a cooler and the other half a grill! 😝

Beer coolers that look like campers aren't unique to Airstream. Some other brands have also authorized reproductions of their RVs...

Are, I have seen a couple of these at rallies. Poorly made in China. Very little insulation.

These have been all over facebook for about 24 months now, with prices ranging from $250 to $950 or more -- that profit can be gleaned at $250 suggests a manufacture price far lower...

Also report have it as a poor quality cooler

I bet Arf's tandem bike, properly equipped with a tow package and WD hitch, of course, could tow that cooler.......

Saw one of these at Total Wine last year.....thought it was just a promotional item, didn't really look heavy enough to function as a real grill. Oh well!

Anyone notice the door

It is on the wrong side. I saw one at a great deli just outside Pasco Wa. Very cool but I can't get past the door being on the wrong side.
