Mandolindave- We can have the best of both worlds. Songs and safety-How about the Beatles song-
Happiness is a warm gun. Sorry, just could not pass that up. Colorado Lady might want me to tune it down some, not get too far off subject. I would not want to do something that caused someone to ask me to leave the room.
You all are fun.

Ashley, no fear of being asked to "leave the room"! Most threads have a tendency to wander a bit. None of us own the threads....the forum is for the entire Airstream community. I have hijacked a few threads myself. It just sort of happens sometimes.

Actually, this thread is, as the title implies....SOLO TRAVELERS! My hope is that it may offer an opportunity for some SOLO TRAVELERS who may want occasional company along their travels....to meet, travel and/or camp near kindred souls. It is helpful to indicate some of your specific interests, so that others with same or similar interests might be inclined to gravitate together in their travels.

An example: the SHIRLEY VALENTINE gathering for mostly ladies to meet in Oregon. Few of us have ever met in person...only on the forum, through discussions such as this. This forum, and it's assorted gatherings...offer a chance to meet kindred souls, and if desired...to develop friendships, future travel company. Not a dating site!

I am comfortable traveling solo, but, enjoy meeting nice fellow travelers along the way. This is intended as a 'no strings attached' place for AIRSTREAMERS to interact, share travel stories, how, where, and when they travel. There are no age, gender, or any other type restrictions. All are welcome to interact, share as you like. The only caveat...treat everyone with courtesy, and decency. THE GOLDEN RULE! ( and adhere to the rules of the Airstream Forum!)

Now, all that being said, join in, share, have fun! Evelyn.

Ashley, so sweet for you to say that. Perhaps one day we will meet. I would like that. In the meantime, enjoy your travels. Have fun, be safe. Evelyn.

Starting in April, I will no longer tow my Bambi. I will drive my GLAMPER mobile! 2016 Interstate Grand Tour Ext.

Picking it up in Dallas, Texas. Let the learning curve begin! Evelyn.

Sorry, folks, I have not posted on here in some time, and today is just for an update. I have posted regularly on my thread...ADVENTURES OUTSIDE COMFORT ZONE, though., for those of you who have not followed on that one....

My AI, "Goliath" is home (since 4-12)! Parked in front of my home awaiting open up of waiting lists for storage lot......he was vandalized...a large driver side window shot out! Some idiots drove thru our street at night on weekend, damaged 9 vehicles. Mercedez-Benz will repair....and hopefully "Goliath" will be good as new in a couple weeks.

Our weather here has been a roller coaster....temps in 60-70s....then 2+ feet of snow....and repeat on a biweekly basis. I am anxious for good weather to take hold so I can get out for some real camping.....late May or early June...maybe.

Ray's Greenhorn Boondocking school will be June 12-18. Look forward to see what I can do!
