My granddaughter is going to love this site! I am going to encourage her to contact some of you. She has a "friend" or two as well. I have always told her to be sure and try to miss the black tank.

Yes, that is me. I have a nice tanned scalp. Flattering pair of glasses on at the present time and moved to Louisiana. Also traveling Solo and love squeezing the Charmin at the end of the commercial.

How did bear spray turn into charmin so fast? About me I had a dog , 140lb wolf hybred. Living in Los angeles, I never had anything ''borrowed'' when he was around. Yes, not a dating site, but you never know what life will dish out. Hobbies...hiking, kayaking, fishing, biking, and snow skiing. Urban hobbies ...concerts, plays, sports events, museums, dining and movies.

I think I have found the perfect answer. Saw this on a friends FB page:

Home Security (could be trailer)
1. Go to Goodwill and buy a pair of size 14-16 men's work boots
2.Place them on your front step, along with a copy of GUNS & AMMO magazine
3.Put four giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazines
4.Leave a note on your door that reads:

Bubba,
Me and Marcel, Donnie Ray and Jimmy Earl went for more ammo and beer. Be
back in an hour. Don't mess with the pit bulls. They got the mailman this morning and messed him up bad.
I don't think Killer took part, but it was hard to tell from all the blood. Anyway, I locked all four of 'em in the house (trailer). Better wait outside. Be right back.

Now, that one is pretty good! If only you had a DVD with sounds of vicious dogs barking!

Streaminwild,
The conversion from bear mace to charmin? We are a very diverse group capable of VERY DEEP INTELLECTUAL PROCESS! LOL!

You are correct...one never knows what life will dish out. I think (for what it's worth).... If one begins with friendship and respect for others, and focuses on participating in groups where all share common interests, (you seem to have a number of interests), one's chances then improve to develop further into relationships. That is human nature. But, it must be a two way situation...or is doomed to failure.

OMG...did I just give relationship advice? Hmmmmm.

Anyhooo! Get traveling and camping ......go west young man!

My Gramps showed me this thread. I am using his account until I decide whether or not to sign up myself. Some fun things on this thread. Looks like there are a lot like me, soloing in my AS. Finally got my FC 20 all rigged up. Took it out for a spin and it really honks. Think I will head out in about 3 or 4 weeks until mid summer. No specific destination but just going until I decide to stop. Appreciate all of the safety reminders and thoughts in here. I am not scared but always aware of surroundings, etc. It is a shame that people have to be concerned about the actions of some others, but, thats why they make great self defense items. Some in 8 shot magazines. OOPS, hope I did not screw up. Maybe I will run into you, not literally, out there in the big, wide open country called America. Named my TV Vinny and my FC Boomer. NOT as in Boomer Sooners. This girl is Texan throughout. By the way that new F-150 is a horse.

Welcome, young lady! Gramps has, indeed talked about you and your new rig. Now, for more grandparent advice....hold on don't go away yet. This is good stuff!

Download onto your IPad, mobile phone, or whatever:
1. All stays RV
2. iExit
3. Pocket Earth
4. A reliable map...of all states you have interest in (I.e., Rand McNally, etc.)
5. Have a reliable GPS, but, verify info with a real map.
6. Have a strong mobile service with a mobile hot spot (to extend your signal)
7. I hate to say this, but, till you get a bit of experience behind you...TRUST YOUR GUT, YOUR INSTINCTS....AND TRUST NO ONE, till they prove they should be trusted.
8. Take no chances....if you stop a place and it "just feels kinda uneasy or off key" keep on moving.
9. Take a big, loyal dog with you. He or she will provide great protection, (German Shepard, Malamute, Siberian Husky, Labrador...all good protection and travel mates.)

Now, all that being said....travel safely, be aware of your surroundings, and enjoy your adventures.

If any of us can be of any assistance, all you need do is ask! We are here for you! Evelyn.

And get gas every time it's convenient, even if you still have Ĺ a tank!
