I did that also but not to that degree. When I open the rear window I install cut water noodles on the edge of the window. I found that you only do that one time.

Just last week discovered an unexpected benefit of recently installed 3" axle spacers. My head just clears a fully opened window.

In the hope that I can get the forum app to select a different cover photo for this thread (so I don't have to keep seeing a graphic photo of a head wound as I scroll), here is an unrelated photo of my dog.

Carry on.Click image for larger version

Appreciate the effort and your gorgeous pooch. Sadly, the horrific image keeps showing up.

I have hidden the photo for the moment pending further input, it seemed to be distressing people and, while I already find the app's tendency to display photos rather than posts when browsing somewhat annoying I get that seeing THAT could be a bit jarring.

DKB_SATX - thanks but a couple things:

1) it still shows on the app (that’s how I saw that you replied)

2) I’m not asking for it to be hidden. It is disturbing - but probably moreso for the poor bloke to whom it happened....

I think it's fine to share in the context of the thread, just not something I want to have pop up repeatedly as I'm casually scrolling through the forums on my phone.

Many forums have some sort of "NSFW" functionality that hide photos that include gore/nudity/spoilers/etc. until you opt into seeing them. That would be helpful in this case, but I imagine Airforums doesn't often have a need for that.

I was just hoping to get the forum to select a less graphic cover photo. Maybe we can all post photos of pets until it goes away. Here's another one.Click image for larger version

Try clearing the cache of your app. I'm surprised the app would continue to display a photo that should only be visible to mods. The reason I chose to hide it is that my impression is that it's not relevant. From his earlier post I think it was caused by the doorway of an aircraft.

Just cleared cache in the app. Scrolled through “participated” and the pic still shows in my feed before I open the thread.

I’ll add another Daisy pic....

And that didn’t work either. The head image is persistent.

Oh well....

That cat must be a kitty. Those toe beans look factory fresh pink!

PS - I’m still seeing the gash-head in my feed - is it just me?

OUCH!! My wife made some attractive tassels attached to rubber coated chip bag clips. Solves the problem and is good looking in a Woodstock sort of way. PIMA Air Museum sells "Remove Before Flight" streamers that would also work. THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP..........OH NO!!!
