Season Summary

Up here in the Great White North the Airstreaming season is all but over unless we want to head south. Our Airstream is now winterized and ready to park for the winter.

As I was putting her to bed I was thinking over this summer's adventures and thought I'd post a quick summary.
We keep a log of locations, distance and nights camped.

2015 totals:
Nights: 21
Distance: 5,800kms
1 Province, 7 states

We pulled as far south as Myrtle Beach where our 2 year old daughter had her first swim in the ocean.

We camped at Loft Mountain campground in Shenandoah National Park and pulled Skyline Drive.

We attended our first Airstream Rally, the 4th of July at Pennwood and made some new friends.

I attended the last race at Watkins Glen speedway before they repave it, I brought home a chunk of asphalt that Joey Logano tore up.

This makes 83 nights and 18,000km since we bought our trailer in 2011.
It was a great season and I can't wait until spring!

Safe travels to everyone still on the road,

Feel free to share what you did this season!

My trip to Utah to see my daughter and visit 3 national parks together was the highlight of our season. Unfortunately, my wife couldn't go with me, as she is the primary care giver for my elderly mom. We now have found a care giver so next year she'll be able to come on our next long venture, hopefully Glacier National Park.

For weekend trips we camped at Table Rock lake. I tow the trailer on Friday, the care giver allows the wife to spend most of the day at the lake on Saturday with me then stays overnight and I return to stay home to be with mom. Then on Sunday the wife drives back and when she is almost home I drive to the lake to pick up the trailer. Not the best situation. Hopefully, next season our new care giver will start staying over the weekends for Mom. Mom can't handle being away from the house due to her mental conditions.

Photos and videos from my trip to Utah.
