hi '62 it sure is, so is that saddle! ouch that hurts just looking at it...

one of the GREAT things about visiting the a/s factory in j/c is about 22 miles WEST of j/c...

at the high point for the ohio and erie canal and right next to an original 'tow path'

every time i go to j/c i spend a full day or 2 over at the museum,

in many ways the museum visit is MORE interesting than the a/s factory tour, no kidding.

they have the most amazing collection of american made bikes and worldly bicycles...

back to the dawn of bike-dom, including a priceless draissine.

finally now they have a website with worthwhile images and links...

Bicycle Museum of America

part of the collect was originally in chi town as the schwinn and huffy collection.

i'll upload a few (of the 100s) of pictures taken there, in a few weeks.

a/s finally donated one of the a/s labled birdy/folders last year.

cheers
2air'

Been there, nice.
Most of the bikes in this pic come close to qualifying for entry as exhibits:
(that's me on the far left, all zipped up - back when I had hair)

(2 days out, ~210 miles, headed to Colorado)
